B&B HOTEL Sainte-Maxime Golfe de Saint Tropez

we had to be in Saint Tropez on a very last minute decision so we couldn’t find any hotels in the area that accept dogs. We literally needed a place to sleep and shower for 2 days. I knew that that sort of cheap hotels maintain certain standards in terms of cleanliness as well as being the most reasonably priced hotel in the area for our dates, we booked at this hotel. Extremely comfy beds. Fabulously working AC. Our booking included breakfast but was not planning to have breakfast there. I woke up in the morning hungry and wanted to grab a croissant, omg, delicious croissant, pain au chocolate and bread. They also had cheeses and omelette. Different coffees and teas. We ended up having our bfast there both mornings. Free parking and they don’t charge for dogs. They were lacking some facilities but they deserve a 10 because they charge you accordingly. You get a lot more than what you pay for. The bed was wonderful.

The area the hotel was in is good and safe. Near to saint maxime by car. Lots of shops and bakeries nearby. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but found a Boulangeri nearby for coffee and croissant.

We made a mistake with the booking but the hotel staff was friendly and professional enough to contact us and making sure that we booking was indeed what we needed. They changed the booking, accommodating all our needs. All done very friendly and professionally.

There was enough room for parking your car, don’t worry about that. When you check-in, you don’t get a key or card. You get a code to get in your room. Keep that with you, because when you had a little little bit to drink, you will definitely forget that code. Just a tip. The room itself was compact. Everything you need was available. When I laid down in bed, I looked at the ceiling and there it was: dead mosquitoes. We were warned. And oh we were, we had four visitors that night. Slammed to the ceiling and walls. Just to warn the next guests in the room. The location was ok, next the Lidl, Aldi and sneaker shop. Would I come back? Maybe as a stop for one night.

A kind receptionist let us check in early. She also spoke very good English. The room was comfortable and quiet so we had a good night sleep. Ample parking available in front of the hotel.
